Music Mixing

Taking inspiration from all of my faves,
I personally go through an fine tune all of my music, adding dynamics,
adjusting the EQ and inserting a tasteful filter here or there.

Music Production

Ok, this is my favourite part.
Creating the drums, finding a punchy bassline, adding layers of pianos, synths, strings or whatever sound feels right in the moment.
Finally, adding the ear candy (my favourite favourite part)

Music Videos

Pop that phone onto the tripod and hit record, lets make a music video!
I can hear you saying "but Jadyn, is it really that easy?," and my answer?

DUDE, WHY NOT?

Let me tell you everything you need to make a music video:

• a vision
• a comprehensive storyboard (important!)
• a recording device
• some type of editing software (i literally use imovie)
• most importantly? conviction

People seem afraid to stand in their convictions and take full ownership of their ideas these days, and you know what? I think that's LAME!
I've said it before, and will say it until i'm blue in the face...
To be cringe is to be FREE. Let it all hang loose dude!

Garageband (Using FREE software)

Ok, so I have a diploma in Music Technology, and you know what software I use? (probably based on the title..)

GARAGEBAND, i.e. the FREE software that comes with a Mac

You know what this means?
It's not about what you have, it's about how you use it.
Something that rocks my socks off is the fact that if you're creative and dedicated, the gear you use means little. So if you're sitting there thinking "man, I can't produce anything for real if I don't use logic and have a set of krk speakers, and a proper mixer, and the right headphones, and, and, and, and," you could go on forever and never make anything
Once I dropped the idea that I needed to right DAW, and needed to create to the radio standard, I really unlocked my creativity.
